The current MVP supports one PDF, PNG, JPG, or JPEG file at a time. The app checks unsupported file types, files larger than 10 MB, and PDFs that exceed the current page-limit guidance.

FAQ
Are my files kept only on my device?
No. To convert a real file, CleanMD uploads the selected file only after you choose to convert and accept the upload notice. Converted Markdown results are stored locally on your device unless you export or share them.
Does CleanMD use ChatGPT or another LLM to summarize my files?
No. The current version focuses on document parsing and Markdown formatting. It does not provide built-in LLM summaries, rewrites, tags, legal advice, medical advice, or financial advice.
Do I need an account or cloud sync?
No account is required, and the current version does not provide cloud sync. Your local conversion history and converted Markdown stay on the device unless you clear them, uninstall the app, or export them.
How can I use the converted Markdown?
After conversion, you can preview the Markdown, copy it to the clipboard, save a .md file, or share it through the system share sheet to another app or destination you choose.
Why did conversion fail?
Common reasons include unsupported file type, file size over the current limit, a long PDF, network failure, or a temporary parsing-provider issue. Try a smaller supported file and confirm network access.

Review Readiness Notes
- Current version scope: import a supported file, show upload consent, choose an output mode, convert to Markdown, preview the result, and copy, save, or share the Markdown.
- The app code keeps a development mock provider available. A production/App Store build should be configured with the intended conversion provider before real conversion is marketed or reviewed.
- No login, account system, cloud sync, ads, analytics, in-app purchase, subscription, RevenueCat, batch conversion, camera scan, or LLM summary flow is included in the current version.
- Users should not upload sensitive personal, legal, medical, financial, or confidential documents unless they accept third-party processing.
