AI Growth Insights for Parents

Support Summary

BabyTracker: Words & Food

BabyTracker: Words & Food is an AI growth insight app for parents of babies and toddlers. It turns parent-confirmed language and food records into personalized observations and practical ideas, helping families understand change over time with less guesswork.

This page is the public support resource for the current App Store version. It is designed to stay simple, readable, and stable for both users and App Review.

  • Review language patterns, food preferences, milestones, and weekly changes without building every insight as a separate dashboard

FAQ

Is BabyTracker a medical, speech, nutrition, or allergy diagnosis app?

No. BabyTracker supports parental recording, observation, and everyday planning. It does not provide diagnosis, developmental screening, treatment, clinical scoring, individualized medical nutrition, or allergy decisions. Please consult a qualified professional when you have health or development concerns.

Which records leave my device?

Your source records remain local by default. After AI data use is enabled, BabyTracker may send one compact relevant summary per day when Today opens, or the minimum summary and question for a chat you start. A food photo is sent only after separate confirmation. The app does not upload your full local library for cloud sync.

Does BabyTracker require an account?

No. Sign-up, login, and cloud sync are not required. A random installation identifier is created to protect AI quotas and associate subscription entitlement without creating a parent or child account.

What is included in Free and Pro?

Core local recording remains available without Pro. Free includes 3 successful AI replies and 2 successful food-photo results per month. Monthly Pro includes 30 replies per day with a 600-per-month cap, plus 8 food-photo results per day with a 60-per-month cap. Annual Pro raises the daily burst to 35 replies and 10 food-photo results while keeping the same monthly caps. The once-daily Today insight uses a separate limit and does not reduce chat or photo allowances. Opening a chat, cancelling, or a failed request does not use those allowances. Current prices and billing periods are shown before purchase.

How do I restore or manage a subscription?

Open Settings, enter the membership page, and choose Restore Purchases. To change or cancel an active Apple subscription, use Manage Subscription or the Subscriptions section of your Apple ID settings.

What are camera and photo access used for?

Camera access is used only when you choose to photograph a food record. Photo library access is used only when you choose an avatar, food-record image, or optional chat background. Avatar and chat-background images stay local; a food photo is sent for AI recognition only after your explicit action and consent.

Can I trust every AI answer?

No. AI can misidentify food, miss context, or generate an unsuitable suggestion. Review every draft and answer against your own records. Do not use AI output for medical, developmental, nutrition-treatment, allergy, or emergency decisions.

How can I remove records or request help with server data?

You can edit or delete individual language and food records in the app. Uninstalling the app removes its local data according to iOS storage behavior. For submitted feedback or server-side installation, entitlement, and quota metadata, contact support from the feedback page or public support email.
